Text: Jer. 13:5

Leadership: is been able to influence one or two persons. The primary aim of leadership is to actually make sure that the vision goes far, thus leader does not go alone. It is the process of discovery, helping  to discover, rediscover, polishing, loading and reloading, sharpening, brushing individuals unique selling points, niches in the pattern of a vision. The mistake many leader make is to wait till the end of their assignment, rather the excersice start along side with the assignment now. 

1) CODE TO APPOINT SUCCESSOR: Lk.22:26 - I have come to appreciate the statement in Lk. 22:26 over time in ministry. Jesus is cracking a code for a successful assignment. Ministry is about serving. Serving is running errand for God, serving under a leader, serving in the church; either by joining department, taking up assignment or by appointment. It is for people that are ready to serve when it is convenient or not.

2) READINESS TO PAY THE PRICE: -1Chr.11:17-19

You can practically experience regular encounter with God if you are ready to pay the price. That is why unlearning and learning are not optional in followership, so as to be able to get excellence in service. Talent is not enough, you need a coach. If you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead.

3) Serve as unto the Lord. This perspective focuses you on God, especially when it seems not convenient, it keeps you going. Col.3:23, even in marriage Col. 3:18, at the family level, whereas church the Lord's family Col. 3:20

4) Not in grumbling: The assignment you do with complaints are not tenable to God. It is expected of ministers in God's house to find possible solutions to reach their place of duty and to stop at nothing until God is satisfied with your service. Jude 1:16-19

5) Fulfil the ministry:- Col. 4:17 - Be goal focussed, since the intention of a follower is to become a worker, then a minister, you must take heed to fulfil the ministry which you have received in the Lord. 

6) Faithfulness in stewards is required: Heb. 3:1,2,5 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to Him that appointed Him, as also Moses was faithful in all His house. Today we are talking of their deeds. The world is about to have you for a topic. 1Cor. 4:2

7) *APPOINTED TO BARE ABIDING FRUITS: Jn. 15:16 There is a way it flows down from the top to the down. This is important because of followers that are hyper with tendencies to think they can rubish their leader. Order has to be respected, get to know who appointed who and who you are accountable to through God. Paul and Barnabas were productive in all their ministry. Production of fruits should be the focus; i.e fruits of the Spirit Eph. 5:8-11, Gal.5:22-24 and results from your task, Acts 12:23 not flexing of muscle. Joel b2:7-8 explains that  people of God should not break their ranks. I bring help for those that are having issues with submission.

CONCUSSION ACTS 6:3-7: When members allow the word of God to mold their mind and form right attitude by the Holy Spirit, everybody and everything in the church will attest to a new level of experience. The church grows, faithfuls go up, business booms family tranquillity is sure verses 7 & 8 and hell will not be able contain it. It will reamain a fresh encounter. 

It requires all of us to build the ministry, no arm chair or bench warmer but be actively involved. In Achievers, it shall be a fresh encounter again and again in the name of the Lord.

1) Leadership and followership is relational. Mtt. 11:29

There must be a connecting point at  the Spirit, mind and purpose. These are vital. 

For instance, in Achievers Assembly;

OUR VISION:

_To build a community of achievers, who will make a difference in the society globally through the gospel.

OUR MISSION:

_To preach gift of righteousness, deliverance and to give you a life style of discovery, development and achievement of purpose._

This is our common ground. 

*LEADERS 2Cor.5:14a:

Leaders are not expected to Lord it over the disciples  but compel them. 1Pt.5:1-4. This I remind myself regularly and I want to pass to the rest leaders too. Mk.10:42-44

*FOLLOWERS:

It is expected of the followers to submit to the leader - Eph.6:1, 1Pt.5-6, as on to God who will reward him with lifting in due time.

2) RESPECT LEADERSHIP: Heb. 13:17: It is possible that you don't know what is expected of you towards your pastor and the church leaders. In this case; myself, the pastorate, heads of department, head of ministry and admin. Love the leadership but if at all you are finding it difficult to love, then respect your father in the Lord and all that his are, respect his vision, doctrine, regards his needs, II Tim.3:10-11,Jn. 7:16, respect and do the same, one to another. The vision you don't respect hardly can profit you.

This is a practical way to connect and process leadership and followership.

Follow Me

Topic: Follow Me

Texy: Matt.4:18-25 (Msg)

That is the tone of command  the Lord used in appointing His followers, which sets a principle of choice making in desiding followership, especially in the church. 

Mark you, who you follow determines who and what follows you. Now;

1) Everybody is made more than ones: The Lord says _you must be born again-Jn.3:3. He didn't say how many times, from biological birth which ends in death, to spiritual birth that makes everything about you new. 2Cor.5:17 and transformational birth-Rm.12:2.

2.) Follow the Lord: Call to follow the Lord, is a call with promise. He says follow me, I will make another person out of you other than the one you know. Achievers, and successful people understand that there are forces around the level they aim at, that will not want to make it possible. So they leverage on a superior force that is higher than the forces of impossibility. 

Nobody go far alone, may be you can go fast alone.

3) It is a call with a deal: When God wants to bless you, He gives you vision, purpose and promise - ...follow me I will make you.... God doesn't give money, not even anything you think other than dreams. It's the dream and the purpose that will attract monetary value. There was a deal from the day He asked them to start following Him. If you are reading this piece,  God is signing a deal with you.

4.) Follow Your Pastor: 1Cor.4:14-16; 1Cor. 11:1-3; Jer.3:15- The idea is, you are to follow somebody who is following the Lord. You can't say you are following the Lord that you can't see, when you are not taking the voice of the man of God which you can see. Since ministry is to raise people, that's the more reason I labour day and night to see that I fulfil the ministry. 

5) Discipleship is a deliberate act: Jesus was deliberate in sourcing His disciples; so are all disciplers. Jn. 10:14,27-28. Since He knows them and understand the assignment, he is careful not to choose wrongly. That's the same way it is in Achievers, you are intentionally chosen. 

6.) Self denial is the term: Mtt.16: 24-26-(msg)

Jesus is working on you now, ok. This is how to have a sustainable breakthrough. Mk.10:28-31 is another promise that self denial is going to pay at the end of the day.

TESTIMONY OF DIVINE HEALING

I had a strange dream and called to tell Reverend about it, he told me the interpretation and prayed. Then as he began to pray, I was shocked hearing him praying on my exact health status,  things that I didn't tell him at all. Suddenly something hit me "gbim", since then, I could stand up, What I could not do without pains before, and I gained my strength. 

Reverend also gave me 3 bible verses to read into water, instructed me to take shower with the water and drink for a period. The night I started to take shower with it, a terrible wind arose inside my flat, blowing everything and I drank the water.

From that point, all chronic pains at the center of my chest, the pain spreading over my diaphragm and ribs that made me seated bending double, that I couldn't do anything for myself, bad high bp just disappeared. I saw raw power of God. I am happy and thankful to God for this Fresh Encounter. Halleluyah, thanks to Jesus.

Invitation to learn II

Text: Mtt 11:28-29

DEVELOP HUNGER TO GROW: Science has it that one of the characteristics of living things is the ability to grow. Now, for human beings, there is capacity to grow not only in stature but all round; intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually etc. Even Jesus increased in wisdom and stature Lk 2:52. Mental growth is pivotal to all other growth. Mtt.12:5, Jesus read, thus, He challenged them to do the same. I dare you to read materials that are relevant to the kind of growth you desire. Knowledge is central to all transformation. In this month of fresh encounter, that's my appeal to you. 

LEARN SELF MANAGEMENT: Prov.16:32, Prov.25:28. If you can handle yourself; handling time, people, business etc won't be a problem. You can learn how to.  Self development, self leadership are the keys to a changed life. You have to learn how to fix yourself inward first before you can fix your external problem. You can not convince people that you can solve theirs, if you have not solved your problems. 

KNOWLEDGE SAFES YOU FROM EMBARRASSMENT: 2Ki.4:1-7 The woman knew something about the prophet which her late husband didn't appreciate in the prophet's life. Sages say, familiarization brings contempt. Most time external people benefit more from the anointed due to over familiarization of close members. The same man that did not profit the husband was the one that delivered the wife and the sons. 

KNOWLEDGE DELIVERS FROM IGNORANCE - Hosea 4:6: Ignorance is the father of all chaos. You are a slave to what you don't know, it will hurt you. The most painful is that you won't know what exactly to treat.

Where your mate falls, you shall rise in Jesus name.

Invitation To Learn I

Text: Mtt 11:28-29

Fresh encounter makes everything new, such as it has never happened before. Mt 9:33

Now, God does it by initiating an invite with His outstretched arms of invite.

In Isaiah 1:18-19, He says, come let us reason together.

I sense in the Spirit, that God is also concerned about your life after covid-19.

Remember at the begining of this year the hope was high, plans were on top gears with prophecies flying everywhere.

All of a sudden, pandemic hit hard world over.

I have this to say from the Lord. The pandemic will not spell your doom, that problem will not mark your end in Jesus name, as long as Jesus you.

I  see celebration coming.

The last chapters  of the year are not yet written. I have a feeling, everything will be alright. 

GET GOD'S PERSPECTIVE: In the new normal, what guarantees your peace is getting His opinions. He is inviting you for a chat, come.

ACQUIRE RELEVANT SKILL: No matter how good you are, you need coaching. Do you realise that the best footballer have their caches. That's how to have a sustainable level of breakthrough. In the next 10 years, I want people to see you and have nothing to say than that you have been with me. Acts 4:13

LEARN THE PRINCIPLES: Psa.103:7 KJV He made known his ways unto Moses...Learning principles will show you the paths in the new world other. The principles put you in charge ahead of time. 

 In matt 11:29, the striking word is learning.

What your life will look like in the next 5years depends on what you learn, people you met, books you read.

Prov. 13:20 KJV

LEARN RELEVANT SKILLS: To be prepared for life after drought, you need to unlearn those things that are canter productive and learn new things.

This goes beyond your certificate.

Study things that will boost your calling. Luke 5:37 KJV 

People are made twice; first at birth, again by what you learn. Nobody is at his best now and this condition won't design your future except you allow it.

Instructions save you from destruction.

I dare you to take your life in your hands anything it may demand. Judges 12:3 KJV

O, Lord  where people are expecting my shame and fall, father lift me up.

THE SECRET TO FRESH ENCOUNTER.

Topic: THE SECRET TO FRESH ENCOUNTER.

Text: John 2:1-11

Perhaps, the going has been good, things working to plan, business booming, recording all round success, but it can be merrier and fresh with just an encounter with Jesus.

Where things have never worked or has ceased working, and at the verge of packing up, an encounter with Jesus would also change the whole situation and make every fresh again.

Jesus' mother exposed the secret to this fresh encounter with Master Jesus. The officials at the wedding got it, carried it out carefully and they experienced something new, which the Governor confirmed.

You could imagine the level of preparation for that kind of event where the Governor and even master Jesus were invited. The whole thing was going well until the vine finished, I bet you don't want to imagine the frustration of failure at the verge of breakthrough. The secret they got and followed to the letter was their saving grace, the event took a new shape and became the talk of town.

Peter also got similar instruction, though it didn't seem normal what Jesus asked him to do, but he obeyed afterall, and boom, he experienced something new. In John 21:6, Jesus told him to cast the net on the right of the ship; meaning he did it on the wrong side before. 

Brethren, we need Jesus to lead us in the best pathway for our lives, we need to be inspired to know what to do, where and how to go about it, that we would not be applying positive energy on a negative venture or vice versa. 

If only we can do whatever He says as Mary advised the officials at the wedding, everything will become new and fresh again. Obedience is better than sacrifice, 1 Sam 15:22.

Evoking Fresh Encounter - II

Topic: Evoking Fresh Encounter II

Text: 2 Kings 3:11 KJV

 ...Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.

The above recommendation for Elisah is connected to the fact that he had served Elijah. Serving humbly and heartily under your pastor guarantees divine encounter and it will continue to pay years to come. Elisah was good at his assignment but the fact that he served under Elijah made his journey to the top quick and strengthened his CV.

SERVICE: is another means to evoke an encounter with God. Services and divinity are inseparable, taking the fact that service is a form of spiritual rite or ritual. I dare you to initiate a fresh encounter with God through sacrificial service for something new.

INTENTIONALITY OF SERVICE: That is the mindset when you are contemplating a service. Col. 3:23 KJV And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Getting right perspective, builds love and respect for God.

PROMOTION IS GUARANTEED: Service also is to take up a duty and do it excellently. Your salvation and giftings are too big for them to be for only you, turn it outwards to render assistance in the church.  Luke 22:26-27 KJV ...he that is greatest among you...he that is chief, as he that doth serve....

Nowadays, many don't want to serve understand a leader. Such pride leads to nowhere other than frustration. Service and humility is the road to the top.

I decree your deliverance and breakthrough in Jesus name

Evoking Fresh Encounter - I

Topic: Evoking Fresh Encounter (I) 

Text: Rm.4:20-21 KJV

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

1.) Develop a working system: Self development come to the fore, that's the way forward this age and time. Don't wait for life to happen to you, it doesn't work that way; rather make life happen or you happen to life. Keep your faith running, that's what makes you an achiever. 

2.) Giving God Glory:

Abraham was glorifying God. Praises is God's given system that keep faith alive. You can't stay grumbling, complaining and keep faith at the same time. Js.1:6&7

Praise God all the way into your breakthrough. 

   2Chr.5:13&14 KJV

It came...to pass...praising and thanking the Lord... the house was filled with a cloud...that the priests could not stand to minister...for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God. 

You don't know what you are loosing by choosing to grumble instead of praising God. You won't need a man to attend to you but God will do it personally. 

3:) Changes happen when you evoke encounter. Gen.17:5-10

See the man that was glorifying God. His name changed from Abram to Abraham and sarai to Sarah and their situation changed. God has given us principles that work in the bible. Having the principles is one thing, making it to happen is the ultimate. 

CONCLUSION: Mark it, he was giving glory to God, means, it was not a one off thing but continuous. This is faith booster and faith demonstrated in the highest order.

I give you what it takes to encounter God always. You are about to testify. I see changes happening to your case. Amen

Renewed Covenant

Fresh Encounter 

Topic: Renewed Covenant

Text: Job 29:19-25 KJV 

Fresh encounter is new experience with God; such that it results to an unexpected or unplanned turn around. 

Renewal depicts renovation, restoration, transformation, complete change of heart and life for better. It used to be new but something happened, that calls for renewal  

In this communion service, I demand for something new. 

Figure 8 in Hebrew means new beginning, which cosigns with August, the 8th month of the year. 

I prophecy, it shall mark the new beginning of better days for us, in Jesus name.

Covenant - deals with deep things of the Spirit. Covenant is the legal

binding between people, as it is with God and man. Covenant holds the testation of God's will for your life.  

Covenant is renewable; God says in

*1 Coril.11:25 NLT*

“...is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.” The covenant having been ratified by the blood is to be renewed by the blood for the same purposes on regular basis. 

Other things that are important to covenant are;

Altar of Covenant - We have an altar...Heb.13:10.Many see the religiosity of Christianity, forgetting the spirituality. Those that do not belong to Christ are not entitled to our heritages. No one is permitted to take your place in destiny in Jesus's name. 

Sacrifice to Covenant - this is the token of exchange. In the spiritual, something must go for something. Anybody that has to die before you are lifted, shall not see the end of this week in Jesus name. 

I wonder when I see Christian who are not ready to part with something but they are expecting something. Unusual testimonies are provoked, they are not dashed, it demands sacrificial  services and substances. He could do things for you without attachment but to silent your acusers, he chooses to tie your breakthrough to something. When I hear people sharing their success story, the content I look for is "how did he arrive at it, what did you sacrifice?" There is a language the heavens understand, it is called sacrifice. Gen.27:3-4

When Jesus entered the throne of God and poured His blood on that altar, the heavens declared, "it is finished". That unpleasant situation, the Lord says it is finished.  What do you enter the throne of God with, to activate the victory?

WHAT NECESSITATE FRESH ENCOUNTER

1.) New birth - People that really hunger after fresh encounter start at the altar of salvation. You must be born again. Jn.3:5,16 . Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Cor.5:17

2.) New vision- Coming into a new month without plan is like ones heritage are stolen.  For new project not to remain business as usual, fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit is inevitable. If already born again, get back to the altar of prayer and sacrificial giving. Tape into heavenly resources needed to actualize your plans.

3.) Turbulent Time: _lJn.16:33 Many things are calling for a fresh encounter these days of covid-19, the time when the souls of men are failing them, enterprises are shorting down. The good news is that God knows about this time before this time and He has you in mind. So, _there is a provision for remedy in the blood of Jesus._ For you, it shall be a new beginning. 

We didn't get here by ourselves, Jesus did. God is demanding a fresh encounter, as the way out. GEN.35:1-3. Put away those things that will serve as barriers to God.

4.) Health and Life Insecurity - To some individual, this bothers on your health. An encounter with Jesus settled the woman with the issues of blood - Mk.5:25-34.The bible says; the issue of bloos was a plague, pandemic is not the first plague. She pressed through the crowds, she resisted the system of social distancing, she paid the price. I see you coming out of this one untouched. Every individual with threatening medical reports, I tear those reports and chase the demon behind the plague out in Jesus name. It was blood vs blood, the blood of our enemies and enemies of Nigeria shall flow this month. I report your reports and the reporters to God who is enthroned on the altar of heavens.Amen.

The Spirit and the oil

Text: Isa.10:27

God can do what He care to do without things but for your sake He prefer to add token to concritize His work.

In the content of the bible, your breakthrough is attached to something. Here it is anointing oil - Exo.30:25

1.).Exo. 30:31- By it God establishes a generational covenant with Him and His children, thereby terminates the evil generational covenant and curses.

2.) Exo.40:9 - by the anointing oil, you are consecrated, set apart and and exempted from anything evil that is harassing the family and the world. Lev.8:10

3.) Lev.21:12 - it crowns you with spiritual crown. Thus, you are in charge, your word becomes final.  Eccl.8:4. Thus, you are becoming the very best in your choice of career. You and your children are becoming the best among your peers.

4.) Js.5:14 - praying with the use of anointing oil is ordained for your healing and also prevents you from falling sick. No sickness no covid-19 in your life and family this month. Psa.105:14-15

Prophetic declarations for the month of August 

August hear me, thus says the Lord;

I shall have fresh encounter for a new beginning. 

I recieve divine encounter to perfect my dreams and vision. I will lay hold of my goodly heritage for the month of August, I shall not miss it, I shall not miss out. The Lord shall prepare tables before me, whether my enemies like it or not.

What is impossible for others shall be easy for me and my family. 

This pandemic shall not come near me, nor enter into my family, I will come out of this season better than I have entered. 

Help will rise for me, I will not lack good ideas to know what to do about my challenges. 

I will not have reason to be afraid, I won't panic over my love ones and on my finance. I am covered by the blood of Jesus.

August series: Fresh Encounter

Life comes with it's challenges but for you a christian, _they are conquered challenges._ The Lord didn't fool you about that, neither was He silent on it. _These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 KJV

Imagine you know what you can do with the challenges

Imagine knowing what you can do to those challenges.

Imagine you are empowered to do exactly that.

Stop imagining, come along with me this August as we explore the possibility of new island of opportunities and get empowered to do it in our series; freshhhhh encounter.

Now, while you are thinking of solving a problem, God is setting you up to overcome the entire world.

You shall conquer the world, your world.
I see you overcoming covid-19, all the challenges that come with it and personal challenges inclusive in Jesus name. Amen.
